Strażacy zawodowi i druhowie ochotnicy z całej gminy gaszą spory pożar w Fabryce Papieru i Tektury "Beskidy" przy ulicy Chopina w Wadowicach.
W niedzielę (14.04) około 20:00 służby ratunkowe zostały powiadomione o potężnym słupie dymu i ognia na terenie Fabryki Papieru i Tektury "Beskidy" w Wadowicach. Pożar zauważyli przejeżdżający obwodnicą mieszkańcy.
Na miejsce zadysponowano zastępy strażaków zawodowych z JRG Wadowice oraz druhów ochotników z praktycznie całej gminy Wadowice. Jak się okazało, zapaliły się składowane obok hali materiały: sprasowana tektura znajdująca się w dużych plastikowych opakowaniach. Pożar objął powierzchnię około 20 m2.
